What We Do
Complete auto care,
under one roof
From routine maintenance to complex repairs — we handle it all with the same care we'd give our own vehicles.
Routine Maintenance
Oil changes, fluid checks, filter replacements, and scheduled service to keep your vehicle running smoothly between repairs.
Brake Service
Pad and rotor replacement, brake fluid flushes, and complete brake system diagnostics. Your safety stops here — literally.
Engine Diagnostics
Check engine light on? We'll read the codes, find the real problem, and explain it plainly — no guesswork or upselling.
Suspension & Steering
Shocks, struts, alignment, and steering components. If your ride feels rough or your car pulls to one side, we'll sort it out.
Heating & Cooling
A/C recharge, heater core repair, thermostat replacement, and radiator service — stay comfortable in every season.
Electrical Systems
Battery testing, alternator and starter repair, wiring issues, and electrical troubleshooting. We track down the fault fast.
Our Story
Built on trust,
kept on the road
John Heim Garage has been a fixture in Halifax, Pennsylvania for years — serving drivers who value honest work over flashy promises. We're not a chain shop with a loyalty program. We're the garage where your mechanic knows your name and your car's history.
Located on Armstrong Valley Road, we've built our reputation one repair at a time. When you bring your vehicle to us, you're getting straightforward advice, quality parts, and a commitment to doing the job right the first time. That's the standard we set for ourselves, and it's the reason our customers keep coming back.
Why John Heim Garage
The difference is
in the details
No Surprises
We explain what's wrong before we touch anything. You'll know exactly what needs attention, what can wait, and what it'll cost — upfront, every time.
Quality Parts
We use reputable parts and stand behind our work. If something doesn't hold up, we make it right. No shortcuts, no cheap fixes that fail months later.
Your Neighborhood Shop
We're right here in Halifax. No drive-through service bays or corporate scripts — just a real garage where people treat your car like their own.
Fair Pricing
Competitive rates without the hidden fees. We believe in transparent quotes and clear communication so you always know what you're paying for.
